The project’s idea was the following: not filling the existing open space, but using it as a resource and value to restore form and image to the center of Giavera. An urban project based on the recognition that open spaces are places for rest and meeting, of reconciliation, places where communities are formed, in which green and historical memory are an heritage of identity, but also of joy and pleasure. Green spaces play thus an important role, because they are an opportunity to recover broken areas, to build connections and to help create mediations between the parties. Thus the green includes and contains the simple and essential space of Piazza Arditi.
