The construction of this large hotel, strongly desired by the Algerian Authorities to provide the city of Tlemcen with a suitable structure for the planned celebrations of the Maghreb culture of that year, is located on a plateau at the foot of the Atlas and overlooking the panorama of the city. The architecture and styles have combined the multiple functions of a luxury hotel with their formal representation, taking into account the Arab-Moorish culture of the origins, more and more felt in recent decades.
